Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President for Academic Success, this position will provide leadership, vision, and administrative direction to all High School partnership programs including College Now, Manhattan Hunter Science, and future Summer programs.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
o Develop and implement all strategic decisions regarding admission selection for the incoming students o Develop and execute new student orientation program, including specific pre-freshman bridge programs.
o Manage all strategic Community Based Organization and Non-Profit recruitment partnerships.
o Coordinate and strategize on the implementation of undergraduate recruitment initiatives, including digital marketing, communication plans, print materials, on-campus experiences, off-campus visits, and Welcome Center operations.
o In collaboration with Residence life, ensures that guidance and support are provided to programs to guarantee students housing; as well as, selects housing options for all new students.
The Academic Program Director will oversee and direct all Scholarship selections for new/incoming students including:
o Freshmen Scholar Cohorts
o Transfer and freshmen Community Partner Scholarship
o Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
o S&W
o Hunter Promise
o Community Scholars
o Member of the Macaulay Honors College Committee

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree preferred
- Demonstration of increasingly responsible, administrative experience in higher education
- Experience in Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment in a Public Institution as well as expertise in the applications of technology to these fields
- Excellent, writing, editing, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Commitment to the values of the liberal arts education and appreciation for work in a diverse and fast paced work environment

CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
- Directs curriculum development and operations of a College's specialized academic program under executive oversight.
- Designs, implements and monitors a comprehensive academic program development plan
- Administers all curricular, administrative, and financial aspects of the program
- Oversees program evaluation efforts and creates strategic plan to further develop program offerings
- Manages annual budget; develops proposals and other initiatives for expanded program support
- Cultivates and maintains strategic partnerships; serves as primary liaison to faculty and administrators to plan and execute programming activities
- May participate in faculty recruitment efforts
- Manages professional and clerical staff
- Performs related duties as assigned.
